Silly Boys

I've been hit on by three different guys today. It was kind of weird. I don't know why they are suddenly noticing me but I don't mind one bit. It's not that anything will happen of any of it but it's really nice to feel pretty and desireable. I pretty much aced my dictation today. I did fudge the character for night a little bit but the rest of it, I think I nailed spot on. Chiu Laoshi, my professor, said that I had very good pronunciation today and that I sounded like I was actually Chinese. I took that as a very high compliment. She is so sweet and bubbly. I adore her! I'm really excited because she is also the professor for 200-level Chinese. I also asked her today what my name means. Qiao means articulate and crafty. Xi means white but it also means clearheaded. I like it. She said that now that she has had me in class for a few weeks that she knows it is a very good name. I have a week and a half to do my Asia papers. I know that I can't procrastinate too much but it is nice to have that cushion.
